In game below, Martinez had already come in as Mopup, leading to Dygert as R Closer. Brewer then had to bump Dygert according to his settings (see below) So far, so good. But why is Brewer removed after only one hit? For Speece (who had no role)....and then Milo....?

Brewer should have been allowed to continue, no doubt. He's a top closer on this team, but in come two scrubs? All the info is below...

Brewer is pitching in his 4th straight game and is at F0. HAL does not like to pitch relievers in 4 straight games.

Speece who follows him is also at F0.

Martinez and Dygert have already pitched earlier in the game.

That leaves only poor Milo Candini as the only reliever left in the pen at anything over F0.

I think the thin bullpen is the reason Milo is pitching. If Brewer had been fresh and not at F0 I suspect he would have pitched longer.
