Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it!

I recently finished my 21 game free league, and Webb hit around .450 with lots of doubles (I used to take him out late for defensive reasons); that was my rationale for taking him again.

Drysdale and Kaat in Forbes - (hoping I get both) - is it because they're fly ball pitchers in a tough HR park that makes them a good fit? Any other SP in this range you can recommend, should I not land one or the other?

I will have to check if Frisch is available (or not). I almost went with the cheap Robbie Alomar - who do you prefer out of him and Sandberg?

Someone drafted Eddie Stanky (I had his cheap card in my trial league)...

Thanks for the comments for the SS position. I will see if I can find a better average guy if Miller's injury prone, and won't have the pop to get it out of Forbes.

I'm intrigued by Red Ruffing... will think long and hard on that one (I'm quite familiar with his hitting ability - got a lot of sports books and while not a huge Yankee fan, I'm still familiar with their great teams).

Thanks again for the advice.

How does my bench/bullpen (beyond possibly needing a better closer) look?

Any thoughts on Masi as a catcher? Or a cheap (1 to 1.5M) catcher that you can recommend?

I'll keep you posted!
Thanks!

Made a few more changes to my waiver claims this morning. If successful, my team would be as follows:

Walsh, Ed (1910) R 10.79M
Drysdale, Don (1965) R 4.99M
Kaat, Jim (1965) L 4.47M
Coombs, Jack (1911) R 1.97M
Martinez, Dennis (1983) R .50M
Marshall, Mike (1979) R 1.75M
Roberts, Dave (1979) L .99M
Linzy, Frank (1972) R .93M
Hassler, Andy (1982) L .88M
Garman, Mike (1977) R .79M

Hitters (15) min. 13, max. 17 (total min. 24, max. 28)
Name B Salary
Boone, Bob (1982) R 1.63M
Borders, Pat (1993) R .57M

Fox, Nellie (1955) L 3.97M
Wiggins, Alan (1984) S .68M
Boudreau, Lou (1947) R 7.12M
Kress, Red (1929) R .78M
Lindstrom, Freddie (1928) R 6.41M
Wagner, Leon (1966) L .95M
Simmons, Al (1925) R 8.61M
Alou, Matty (1970) L .66M
McGee, Willie (1985) S 6.57M
Webb, Earl (1931) L 5.00M

Batting Order:
Fox 2B
McGee CF
Sisler 1B
Simmons RF
Webb LF
Lindstrom 3B
Boudreau SS
Boone C
P

What do you think? I like it... 7 .300 hitters, pretty fair defense.

(Playing in Forbes '57)

By the way - does anyone know a site that lists the dimensions for all of these stadium options we can choose from?

Thanks!
