Maybe he's British. The Webster's dictionary has defence as the British spelling.

Heyyy, war... Canada has never been in a war with the US, well that's not totally true, when we were still a British colony we did kick your ass in the War of 1812, since then we have always been friends :)

And just to be precise, the British Empire Loyalists, those Americans and their descendants who came to British North America cuz they didn't agree with the American War for Independence, did help us kick their former countrymen back below the 49th parallel. At least that's what I remember from high school history.

Scott.

I'm not sure what your schools teach , but Canada was not even officially a country in 1812. The people living there were primarily concerned that the booze supply from the US would be cut off, so they were naturally conflicted. The troops that repelled the American invasion were largely British troops. At this point, refer to my original post :D

If I remember well from the days when manager ratings existed Scorehouse is about right on the number of regular players. That means any scheme developed has to be developed with the understanding of only having a few hundred customers.

I think one has to be careful comparing the strat world with say online poker sites which may have tens or hundreds of thousands of customers. Over the years I have encountered one person who had even heard of strat other than the ones I introduced to it. But everyone I have know has heard of poker and most have played. There is just a huge difference in size of potential customer base.

We would have a better Idea if we know how many orders of the cdrom game and how many order the online teams, then it would be a good indicator if we assume that if the online game reflected the cdrom game the ones who order the cdrom game would move over to the online version as it would be less of a hassle.
