A new, accurate type of manager ratings would be excellent. However, SOM bringing back the old manager ratings would be a waste of time. They greatly over-valued games played. So, the "leaders" were made up of players with the free time to play 12+ teams at a time, instead of the players who won the highest percentage of their games and championships. Since most of us
don't have that free time, that was unfortunate. Obviously, longevity of success should be a factor, but it shouldn't supercede quality of play.
