Please don't bring in Pre-1894 cards unless Strat is going to go to an Unleashed Set option. I'd prefer all the stats that the cards are based on to be reasonably similar. 1894 is when the rules that we know today began to come somewhat into shape. Facing a Walter Johnson fastball in 1914 was a lot different than the opposing pitcher tossing underhanded to a spot the batter just requested.

This is not practical for every league champ, but it might be a cool idea for the Barnstormer Tournament winner. What if the annual champ got, say, five cards of his choice as part of the prize? Might be worth suggesting to Moose!

Hey JohnG - how about updating the Stratomatic news feed on team's front pages? All that needs to be done is change the date and link on the last entry from last March! Thanks!
Have to agree with Andy here. Guys please vote where Franchises need help. Cabrera SS for Montreal, Hundley C for the Mets would have helped as would have Durham 2B for the EXP White Sox. Just my 2 cents. Would help if SOM would just pit ALL 40 in. Maybe for another day they go that way.
Well, I'll put one plug in for my nom, Felipe Alou, who's on the outside looking in, but not by too much - 1966. His best year - 31 homers, .327 BA, .537 SLG. Led the NL that year in ABs, Hits, Runs Scored and Total Bases. 1b/LF/CF. And won't be injured.
Please don't take offense franchise players, b/c I understand its not your fault that you want to complete stuff, I would too:
BUT-- now we are going to take away from adding guys that 'might' play at all cap levels to get a franchise guys in-- then next vote will be a franchise vote where we get one guy who gets used at a high cap level--- UGH.
Again-- this could be solved a number of ways, including adding all 40 players, or adding 20 PLUS adding a franchise or two each vote.
