the new cards?

This is why I get my panties in a bunch:

Its been over a month since the latest new card topic was announced--
DECEMBER 18th to be precise--

whats the frikkin point of drawing it out for so dammmed long?
Its ONLY 21 cards.

Just take a look at this old CCR song and replace the words Daddy and Papa with Hal or John G and it fits. We children who are too naïve to understand. But someday.....................................................................never comes!!!

Wait til next year

There's an old saying in business that a company should "under-promise and over-deliver."

SOM has a persistent problem with doing the opposite. That is, over-promising and under delivering. If I were them, I would avoid setting up expectations for delivery times that they MIGHT not (or even PROBABLY WON'T) be able to meet. I think SOM would be better served if they simply set up realistic expectations (with a comfortable margin for error, and then bent every effort to meet their own deadlines).

Avoiding setting deadlines at all might be even smarter: e.g. "These cards will be out as soon as we can get them out, but it may be a while."

People remember when you promise something and don't deliver on it. So avoiding promsising what you might not be able to do.

I promise that these cards will be available at Christmas.

This is a very busy time of year for them - and don't forget they are a much smaller company than you can imagine.

rburgh the issue is not that they haven't issued the cards because there busy hell every body is busy...just keep us posted give us a date hell tell us its 1 feb and then deliver on jan 31st...the problem is they procrastinate...just keep us in the loop...we help pay that salary for that small business...Its not that hard to do..........

And I realized that I forgot to vote for the players I wanted. One of them would have been Orlando Cabrera, giving him 16 votes. That ties him with the 6 players above so we'll add Cabrera as well.

So that's 22 players we'll be adding this time. Thanks to all who participated in both nominating players and in the vote! These players will be added to ATG in the next couple weeks.

Last time I check a couple was 2. Two weeks from 1/7/2016 is 1/21/2016. Oh wait that's today and NO NEW cards added. But we did get a NEW Daily Fantasy Game!!!!
