Thanks for joining and for reaching out for clarification - I definitely should have been more clear on this point. I am going with AB's and I'm basing it on the player's entire career (using
http://BaseballReference.com as the source). McGwire belongs to the A's by virtue of both PA's and AB's based on this measure. That being said, you may (as you pointed out correctly) use ANY of his A's cards - of which there are 4 '88, '90, '92, '96. Note that if the A's are not chosen as a franchise, the McGwire A's cards are a collective free agent.
