Awesome tip, thank you. Grabbing Bradley now ...

One other issue with defensive backups, and I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but sometimes if your backup (say Tannehill) is a much better defender than your starter (Wagner), HAL will sometimes double-switch a guy like Wagner out of the game with a lead, which I don't really want. I find it happens far less often if at all if the backup isn't a markedly better fielder. (Where is the do NOT remove for defensive sub button?)

Slow afoot RBI machine Joe Torre or faster running but still hits into the DP Freddie Lindstrom??? 80M. Shibe Park '50. Don't see much difference in the cards.

Just wondering...

If you are comparing the 7.70 Torre with the 7.05 Lindstrom, even for the extra 0.65 I would take Torre for the RH pop (unless your league has lots of LHP). Here are their OPSes, adjusted for playing in Shibe 50:

Torre vs Lhp/Rhp: 1.232/1.341
Freddie vs Lhp/Rhp: 1.344/1.170

In my experience you should NEVER check the remove for defensive sub button _ better to just list a defensive sub in Team Strategy.

- The Sheik[/quote]Ya, I never do. It doesn't seem to stop HAL from sometimes trying I'll-advised double switches late in games. Hence my desire for a do not remove button.
