It's a really nice team, but you probably shouldn't expect Nap to continue quite at this pace given that 55% of the rolls are off the hitter's card for the moment.

He's up to 117 RBIs, in 129 games.

Poor Nap can't hit a home, had zero that year. So, he does the best he can otherwise.:)

I was wondering how you settled on a batting order? The lineup on opening day is different from the most recent game.

Actually, he can "hit" an inside the park HR (Or am I wrong? I seem yo recall a thread about this)

Nap Lajoie now has 137 RBIs in 153 games :)

On the batting order, I eventually dropped Wagner against righties from cleanup to 5th and moved Nap there, as he was hitting better against righties. And I dropped Shan Collins from No. 2 against lefties to No. 5, and moved Wagner to the second spot, because he was really hitting lefties well. Those were the major changes. It did settle in Nap in the clean-up spot for the duration of the season.

I'm not exactly sure about inside the park homers, but my impression was that if you were a "W" on HRs, that meant no inside the park homer. But maybe an X roll to an outfielder can result in an inside the park HR even if the player is a W. Must be very rare. Good question.

I could be wrong, but I think the biggest risk to him hitting a home run is to hit a triple and then have the option to take an extra base. This is why I suggested, in the narrowest possible pursuit of the goal, setting baserunning to conservative or extra conservative, which would otherwise be a horrible strategy for your team.

Your almost there Nap don't blow it!
