I am curious, I was in that draft and just starting with ATG 8 so freely admit I am still learning the set. What made the made the draft very strange?

Mostly a lot of picks that were either premature or just ill-advised. Of course that is just my opinion, but I never should have been allowed to get Hornsby, Mays and Dimaggio picking 6th, in the first three rounds. I also had the sense during the draft that I was able to draft whomever I wanted for quite a few rounds, I only had to hesitate once during the draft because the guys I wanted were always there, except that one time. A 'normal' draft usually entails lots of "ah crap" moments when the next guy in your queue is snatched right before you were going to pick him. That didn't happen with this draft.

Mays often goes number 7-
so for him to last to the middle of round 2 is really strange--
DiMaggio lasting to the 3rd has happened but hes a good value there;
but to get all 3 in live yeah, that's surprising.
