Are we allowed to offer franchise trades after teams are assigned? I have the Cubs and the A's in other leagues and even though one of those teams is doing very well I would prefer to not have them again. Not a competitive standpoint as the teams seem to be divided pretty evenly, just that I would like to play with different franchises.

So you'd like to trade an entire franchise? Wow, I've never heard that before. I'm willing to let the league vote on that, but right now I'd say you get what you get. If the league members think otherwise, then we'll cross that bridge. You have an 17% chance of getting the same franchise so hopefully it won't happen. With free agents and possibly losing some players to other franchises, your teams may be quite different anyway.
