Just a metaphor to describe the event.

Coin Flip, First 24 games: 26-8
Coin Flip, Second 24 games: 3-23 (when I responded)

Seemed like the record - ridiculous flip-flop - was randomly arrived at by HAL flipping a coin, with one side an extreme winning run and the other the opposite.

This kind of variation is obscene.

If flipping coins, sure. But the first 34 games are not the same events as the next 26 games--different opponents, matchups, parks, injuries, etc.

In this instance, perhaps.

But I had one team that I think went 15-3 the first 18 against my division and then went something like 6-24 last 30 against the same teams, parks, etc. No roster moves to speak of in-between.

That's one example of many.

That definitely qualifies as obscene as plouhboy put it. Does not make the completion check mark each night any fun to check out.

Haha-thanks. I thought perhaps it was another one of HAL’s devious plans at play.

71 Sat, 6/27 Athletics W 10-9 (11) 50-21 Rescigno, X. (R) Rico Petrocelli blasts 2 HRs in 10-9 victory over Athletics
118 Mon, 7/13 Clowns L 17-15 68-50 Sothoron, A. (R) Liverpool Clowns defeat Chiropractors Delight 17-15

Not quite to the level of your crazy coin flip - but I started this season 18-1 and then 50-21.... then followed that with an 18-29 streak, including a 2-14 stretch.

HAL loves to eff with us.
