What are the rules around team construction?

Strictly cards from your franchise exp-era roster?
Any exp card for players carded to your franchise?
Any exp player who played for your franchise?

Are there rules around who a multi-franchise player belongs to, or just whoever gets them in the draft?

Also, is there a custom set you are using, or just ATG 9?

Strictly cards from your franchise EXP era ( you can find the available players by choosing your franchise - exp under the team section of player search). First come first serve for players who have cards for multiple teams in the exp set.

I hope to make a custom set to make things easier.

Just to verify it’s first come first serve on these guys I get that. My question is can I use a card that isn’t from my franchise if the guy has a card for my franchise?

Ken Forsch for example has cards for HOU and CAL

Can I use any card since I have the Astros or does it have to be a HOU card?

No, you must use only cards that are listed in your franchise's players. When I finish putting the set together, you will be able to just select team tab for players available and a full list of available players will be shown.


I have been working on this for hours now. I have to download the ATG9 file and delete each player that doesnt fit our format one by one.

For the first season, just to move it along, we will just go to ATG 9 and under available players you will select "Team". Then choose your team-exp (in my case California-exp. Then the entire list of eligible players will be listed for you.

Just moving back to the top - LMBombers & Main Line Expos need to add teams to start the league. You 2 are very active so probably letting real life interfer with SOM.
