Lots of 20 game winners, but then I'm often going the "don't relieve before F0" route with four man rotations. Can't recall a 30 game winner though. I'll go look, but here's the latest entering a final against Guynick - before the team says goodnight in the inevitable Finals loss:

I'll post the other 4 man 20 game winners sometime.

Not sure if you noticed Mark, but both teams your #3 starter was your best pitcher. Probably because he was going up against other peoples lesser starters on a regular basis. But that's interesting, I'll have to look that over and see if it's a trend.

Oh alright, fine. Super reliever Dale Murray goes 31-4. I'm not proud.

Rich,

That makes sense. You're probably right.

4 20 game winners for the 2019 round 1 Barnstormers Tour $140 mil team, my best BSers team thus far:

Note that I acquired Carlton, Maddux and Chance in early season trades. Carlton and Maddux were winless when acquired, but chance was 3-5, so he actually finished 22-9 to give me a quartet of 20 game winners.

Unfortunately, the special rules of this league (no player with more than 30 HRs, no player more than $10 mil, players from 1950 to 2000 only, no NeL cards and just one RP pitcher over $5 mil per team), give this team no precedential value as a model for future teams.

Here's a link to the league:

The most unusual thing about the team isn't the 4 20 game winners, but that Schoendienst hit 20 HRs. How often has that happened at a cap of $140 mil, or any cap for that matter?

Love this topic because it is something pretty hard to do.

Here's my most recent team with 4 20 game winners ...

Clearly much harder to have a 30 game winner than four 20 game winners.

I first started this topic almost 6 years ago. Nearly 23,000 page views later, it's still going strong. Thanks to everyone for contributing and keeping this thread alive, especially Rich (egvrich).

After reading this topic all these years, and based upon my own experience and observations, it seems that having four 20 game winners on a team is more common than having a 30 game winner.

With that being said, I discovered that there is something even more uncommon than having a 30 game winner: having 4 lefty 20 game winners on the same team. I can only recall seeing it a couple of times.

I was recently reminded of this in a thread started by nomadbrad in late May entitled "I finally did it" where Brad noted that he had his first team with four 20 game winners. Here's the link to Brad's team:

https://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1552744

But within that same topic, hollywood posted his team with four 20 game winners and it was all lefty pitchers:

https://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1556583

So congrats, hollywood, on accomplishing such a rare feat.
