I think I need to build another team designed to produce a 20 game winner ...

Four 20 game winners: https://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1594610

A few years ago I had Whitey Ford (1958) win 31 games, but the link doesn't seem to work anymore (might be what Mighty Moose was referring to, SOM trashing old boxscores, seasons). https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/33 ... /3//430153

Here's a true rarity, two 30 game winners on the same team!

Here's another team with 4 20 game winners:

Below are 4 teams from the same $60 mil theme league that each had a 30 game winner. The theme appears to be that each team was allowed to have up to 1 pitcher and 1 hitter that cost $11 mil or more and that all other players were capped at $3 mil. Most teams opted for one $11+ mil player, while some teams opted for none. One team had both an $11 mil pitcher and an $11 mil hitter. Teams that chose $11 mil pitchers seemed to do better than those that chose an $11 mil hitter or chose no $11 mil player.

After reading this topic all these years, and based upon my own experience and observations, it seems that having four 20 game winners on a team is more common than having a 30 game winner.

With that being said, I discovered that there is something even more uncommon than having a 30 game winner: having 4 lefty 20 game winners on the same team. I can only recall seeing it a couple of times.

I was recently reminded of this in a thread started by nomadbrad in late May entitled "I finally did it" where Brad noted that he had his first team with four 20 game winners. Here's the link to Brad's team:

https://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1552744

But within that same topic, hollywood posted his team with four 20 game winners and it was all lefty pitchers:

So congrats, hollywood, on accomplishing such a rare feat.

Regarding lefties: see my post above re a 30 and 4 20s.
