At this point, maybe I should just pull the plug on the league. I thought it was a fun and difficult challenge, fairly clearly laid out. The result has been a lot of confused managers who don't like the format.

Shall I kill the league?

I for one am looking forward to the challenge to play some baseball. What say you all?

why not let LM Bombers switch to 1946-1947 pool of players there is a lot better

Don't kill it. I still think it'll work out. We have 22-24 managers who are willing to give it a go. If we need a couple of replacements, that would be better than killing it for the other 20 or so of us (My pool is not a great one full of choices, but it's fun to be challenged)

I like the theme, don't scrap it. I'm just trying to help solve a problem that is most likely going to occur. If the 96-97 team even loses 1 of its pitchers it can NOT field a team under 80M

I had just sworn off ATG leagues thinking you had to have dozens of seasons under your belt to succeed and know how to choose players and stadiums. I felt the limited pool would even the playing field a bit.

Can't make everyone happy, it was a lottery, clearly you were signing up with the knowledge that there was a chance you wouldn't get what you wanted.

It will be tough for 96-97, but there are six * SPs and one non-star. Not ideal, but also not one pitcher away from being ineligible.

Well, thank you. That was my thinking. Let's go with it.

Hopefully we can land some replacement managers, or I can take one for the team and scoop up one of the objectionable year sets in exchange for my deluxe 81-83 group.

I don't really need strike-shortened 1981, so I suppose in a pinch, with approval from all, I could gift LMBombers 1981 to pad out his player pool a bit.
