So sorry about his death. I enjoyed seeing him join the live drafts, cause I knew there would always be a "Blatz for everyone" coming when the draft started. Thoughts and prayers.

I also got to hang out with him at the last Vegas gathering. RIP to a cool cat.

Truely a huge loss to the online strat community.
Class act through and through.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Oh crap. I just saw this. Very sad news, indeed. Although I never met him, I was in many leagues with him over the years, and he always came across as a very solid, friendly person. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

to the best of my knowledge i have only been in one or two leagues with him but judging from all the nice comments here it seems like he was certainly one of the most well respected and liked players. This is certainly a loss for all of us in this community.

Sympathies and condolences to his family and friends

Strength to Mike, Paul and the rest of the family. I also met John in Vegas many years ago, and he was even better in person than he was in this community, and that's saying a lot.

John, may you always get Tris Speaker in the draft. I'm naming my next team after the Mighty Moriarty.
