I'm 62 and still occasionally fly upside down, but anything over 5g's hurts a bit! I guess I'm headed towards a new nickname, "slow and level" maybe, or "grounded". My first game was 1962 - Twins against Baltimore. Lots of talent on those two teams.

I'm 47, been playing online since 2003-2004. Played the APBA game as a kid. First game that I remember going to was at Shea Stadium in 73 and saw Tom Seaver pitch and George Theodore hit and try to run "The Stork"! Has there ever been a more uncoordinated ballplayer?

I'm 37, but tall for my age.

My first game was at Tiger Stadium in 1983. The Yankees beat the Tigers on a Dave Winfield homer in extra innings, and Gossage got the win. The immortal Howard Bailey went 8+ innings in relief for the Tigers.

Me, I am 58. I play in leagues with my son... he is 26. We were talking this morning about this subject... and he was mentioning that he thinks online SOM will die someday. Hardly anyone young. I really don't know... I hope that since he loves to play that they young will get turned on to the game.

I love the game so much I still replay seasons on the computer... right now playing the 66 season... I wonder how many of us do that too? Did face to face a few years in the early 80's... now that was fun too.

I am 72 and I think just about done with this puberty thing.
My first baseball game memory was when my mother leaned over to me and said, "Brace yourself." Then the outfield fence gate swung open and a tall figure appeared. As he started his slow walk onto the outfield a roar exploded louder than I would ever hear. It scared the wits out of me.
It was 1948 in Cleveland's Municipal Stadium and the opponent was the New York Yankees. It was not uncommon that year for crowds of 70,000 plus to gather to watch the Yankees and Indians.
The relief pitcher finally arrived to the mound and finished his warm ups. Satchel Paige was ready to face the first batter. When he finished that task another roar exploded.
I must have thought to myself, "This baseball can be fun."
I tell folks that I also saw Cy Young pitch. The year was 1954 and he threw out the first pitch celebrating the opening of the new Little League park in my hometown. Sure he was 87 and wearing a brown suit but he was on the mound and threw the ball to home plate.
"Baseball been very, very good to me."

I'm 49 and grew up Seattle as a sufferin Seattle Mariner Fan...don't laugh!

My first game was when I saw the expansion team beat the Yankees during Spring of '77...it seemed that during those years the Mariners owned the Yankees when at home in the Kingdome...about the only team it seemed like we could beat during those early years, very strange since those were the Reggie teams... The old Kingdome was brand spankin new...I remember the only hitter to get excited about that first year was Rupert Jones...fans would chant "RUPE...RUPE...RUPE" like Yankees fans used to chant "LOU...LOU...LOU" when Piniella would come to the plate. The best part of those horrible years was listening to the LATE GREAT Dave Niehaus call the games on the radio...one of my favorite memories as a youth...I left the Seattle area for good when we moved back east back in 1998...I never did get to see SAFECO...The mid to late 90's were great years to be a Mariners fan...not so much any more...

I was introduced to Strat by a room-mate in the dorms during my freshman year in college (fall 1982) and have been hooked ever since...I remember how we used to draft 8 team mini seasons of 42 games + WS...I believe we only had the 1979 season and how we would fight over Fred Lynn, JR Richard and Bruce Sutter... Moved to Central Cal 9 years ago and it's tough living in Central Cal surrounded by both Dodgers and Giants fans, it's almost impossible to find an AL fan around here.

59 Baby! Baseball has always been my fav. Grew up an Orioles fan and got to see the best of Frank, Brooks, Boog et al. I had grown up and moved during Cal's glory days so I had to see him when I could on road games. Live in Houston and love the move to the American League. Baseball is a really mess right now in Houston - guess it could be worse, I could be an Angels fan right now. Mark

Im 53 Years. Started playing the board game with friends in the summer of 1973. The Strat board game was a "video game" black hole before its time because you and your friends would literally spend hours playing the darn game. I was intrigued by those two gents who broke the record a year or two ago in that marathon session in NY. I wouldn't mind giving that a try with my younger brother. Some of our sessions were legendary

Started playing the on-line game at its inception back in 2001 and remember my first team went 104-58 and won the championship. I attributed that success to my years of playing but how I've long been humbled since then. Experienced players started joining the community and the game just got more enjoyable. Seen a lot of good (and bad) folks come and go but this has been a great game and community IMO.
