Both my common sense and my spider sense tells me there is more to this than simply a name change
and a complimentary face-lift b/c we think it sounds better;

Whatever the reason might actually be, good or bad, we don't have the full story.

Am I the only one that has trouble reading with this new site?

The light green (when on "My Team") is just hard to read. They need to move it darker (like the dark green) or back to black.

They mentioned a phone app coming out as well.

Just don't like the 365 moniker, just seems like stealing what Microsoft uses.

Maybe they are trying to spruce up the site as part of a larger plan for Richman to sell SOM completely and then retire. Guy has to be 80 by now.

Certainly possible-- Ive got no inside information.

My questions would be:

Why no announcement until after the fact, when its already a done-deal?

Why no explanation about the new name- or what the logic was behind it?

Why no community involvement in either the name change or new design?

what does the name change accomplish? Why go through the trouble if its 'business as usual'?
