Who has been your best Strat player all time?

yes. back in atg4 (i think) that card was cheaper and a staple on all my small ball teams. he was amazing and should probably be my contribution to this post. that or if 6+ mil f.alou card (also used on all my old small ball teams).

For pitchers.... In a 90s league I did, Pedro Martinez was hands down the best performer. He's expensive and don't always have the guarantee you'll get him, but he was hands down a reliable starting Ace. Especially impressive in a 90s era thats loaded with HR and such.

In ATG8, I really like Steve Garvey for his price. 30+ HR, good avg and 1e6 fielding for 4.11 million... The other guy I really like is Jackie Robinson. A little expensive for a 60 mil league at 7.69m, but he's worth every penny IMO... The perfect #2 hitter. Lots of walks, stolen bases and extra base hits.

2002 Vlad Guerrero in ATG8. Does everything.
Best bargains in ATG 8: 1974 Bert Campaneris or 1991 Shawon Dunston at SS, 1982 Bob Boone at C.

I use Pie Traynor on a lot of my teams no matter the park he seems to deliver. good price tag as well.

Small Ball - Freddie Lindstrom (6.4 mill card) Flat out performs league in and league out.
