I don't understand what the big deal is.
It does not reveal the order in which you placed guys. All it does is reveal the list of players that more than one manager tried to draft. The only bit of information learned from it is which manager had him highest on the draft card, and that's only if you assume no ties.
I don't see what there is to learn from it that cant be learned without it.

Seriously, let me see draft results, preferably a nice volume of leagues where I can really start to see tendencies from people in certain parks and also perhaps see where I'm consistently putting players too high on my card. Then let me see the parks of everyone before I join a league. Not a big deal huh?

You can see tendencies from people in certain parks just by looking at their rosters. Once you play in leagues with the same people over and over again, you already know who they draft most often. Looking at the draft results does not give you more information there.

You know you are potentially putting players too high on your own draft card if you are always successful in your attempt to draft them. If you drafted John Doe successfully in 4 consecutive leagues and you had him 3rd on your draft card each time, perhaps it's time to drop him a few slots. Checking out the draft results will not help you there any more than just checking your team post draft.

Checking the parks of everyone before joining is a security hole that needed to be fixed. I did not support that.

Well lets see...My first draft in 200m since this post and for probably only the second or third time out of hundreds of 200m leagues my draft was so bad I have first pick in waivers...The guy that posted the loophole was fortunate enough to get 7 (Seven) 10+ hitters And a 10+ SP...

And to me, not a computer guy...why does one even go looking for this stuff? To me it's an attempt to gain an unfair advantage..which is cheating....and whether they find stuff they can use (because Bernie will always make plenty of mistakes) or not, what is their intent?

I can't believe you go looking to cheat and then post that you found a way (so I'm not blaming Rob per se) but what is the intent even?

The "loophole" as you call it was around for a long time on the old site before being disabled and it didn't seem to effect your 200m drafts then. So you had one bad draft. Are you really going to blame it on a feature that was disabled shortly after it was posted? Especially when we still dont have access to old teams.

Again, it doesn't take a genius to figure out who is put on peoples draft cards. When one plays so many seasons, its easy to spot drafting trends in other managers. The draft results page never listed the order in which the players were put on peoples draft cards.

Glad they closed that loophole - if someone knows who you are drafting when and in what stadium, you can get an unfair edge

Yes you're right and me and the other vets are wrong...Thanks for showing us what you already knew.

Although it was surprising to be told that in a 200m Maddux often goes undrafted  But again I'm sure you knew that already and getting him with your 7th pick as the guy using the loophole did, was just a lucky coincidence for him...and of course no big advantage there. ;) ;) ;) ;)
