Well, we're full at last! (Thank God Almighty, FULL AT LAST!)
I will get the randomizer run set up soon. In the meantime, here's how it works:
The Park's Lot # is determined first.
Once the Lot is determined, we run randomizer string for all parks in the league.
We then list the park # next to the names in the order we signed up.
For example, if Lot 1 were chosen:
LOT 1:
1 Ameriquest Field '05 grass 49,178 13 13 19 11
2 Braves Field '20 Grass 40,000 4 4 1 1
3 Cinergy Field '00 Turf 52,953 7 7 10 10
4 Comiskey Park '59 Grass 52,000 4 4 6 6
5 Crosley Field '57 Grass 29,980 6 11 19 15
6 Fenway Park '05 grass 36,298 14 14 4 10
7 Forbes Field '65 Grass 35,000 18 8 1 1
8 Hunt. Ave. Grds '11 Grass 11,500 4 4 19 19
9 McAfee Coliseum '05 grass 48,219 7 4 4 10
10 Municipal Stadium '57 Grass 30,296 4 4 6 15
11 Polo Grounds '41 Grass 55,000 0 0 20 20
12 SAFECO Field '05 grass 46,621 1 1 14 6
13 South End Grounds '11 Grass 6,800 3 3 17 19
14 Terrapin Park (NeL) Grass 10,000 14 14 2 1
15 Wrigley Field '05 grass 38,902 5 8 10 14
16 Yankee Stadium '71 Grass 65,010 8 2 12 1
And the number string came out:
6
7
14
8
4
9
1
5
3
15
2
12
16
13
11
10
Then the parks would be:
6 honestiago, aka "Bound for (no)Glory."
7 george barnard, aka "Random Up, Pardner"
14 BC15NY, aka "Rio Roulette"
8 mykeedee, aka "Wonder? Boy"
4 tmfw30, aka "stoked for stochasticity"
9 bcousy57, aka "Zihuatanejo"
1 djp_77, aka "Quahog Quagmire"
5 DARRELLPICKELL, aka "Mackinac Islanders"
3 jlt53, Irrational Numbers
15 Rosie2167, "Adios Pelota"
2 Eveldrive, aka "Accidental Algorithms"
2 Ironwill1
So, I would have FENWAY '05, GB would have Forbes '65, BC would have Terrapin, and so on (btw, that was an actual number string I ran there...me and Fenway...ouch...not good luck there for me).
Anyway, I will get us an outside party to do the number runs, unless you guys trust me to do it. In lieu of that, does anyone know of a generator that has a verifying mechanism? (outside a screenshot). I we have this, I can do the run, and get the league set up tonight.
