i purchased credits in December... i did not get hacked but i played it safe and cancelled the card... i have serious doubts about using the card with strat again. i think you need to inform everyone as soon as you know.. i do not see that happening here...

Not in a petulant way, but just trying to think how am I going to do it safely? I would rather just send in a check. I know they said doing it through Paypal is still safe but I dont know.
I had another fraud attempt too, unbelievable. Have to get a new card. Seriously, I'll never again use my bank card to do any business with STRAT, never. This will diminish my business with them. I'll perhaps live off the playoff credits for awhile, then it's done. Can't trust them, so incompetent.
The nice thing about PayPal is it adds a buffer between the transaction and the payment which makes it more difficult to compromise directly. Not impossible, but criminals always seek the path of least resistance, so the extra effort necessary would make it less likely.
My last urchase was December but i didn't use PayPal...no fraud...but will never push my card to their site again.
Does anyone want to sure the type of fraud? Many small charges, few large ones. international, etc?
