I only see edit and quote but no way to delete a post. Will give the online game a try again.

Thank you Mr. Richman for your reply to many of the issues that have been popular topics on the forums. It may have saved a lot of heartache if it could have come sooner but what the reply lacked in timeliness it certainly made up for in information, insight and obviously the generous offer, all greatly appreciated.

Hopefully all goes well for the SOM online venture and for everyone in the SOM community.

Just read that letter and it seemed sincere in Strat's desire to improve the game for us all which is definitely appreciated. The new promotional price is reflective of what I felt the price should have always been so I am happy about that as well and it sounds like they will be more responsive to any future events. This is good news for our community!

John Garcia, to address your concerns. John will monitor the boards and provide progress reports via an FAQ format

Anyone seen any John Garcia sightings yet?

Remember the old where's Wally game?

Valen--Try checking the Special Announcements from SOM thread above, and perhaps you'll realize that this ain't no "where's wally" thing.

Great news from Hal, I think im getting that strat fever again, time to load up. Thanks Richman for "making things right". I would expect this news will bring a lot of the the old time gamers back and the message board will start humming like the old days.

Thanks bontomn. I see it now.

I liked that he named something specific they are working on. But with 4 programmers would think they would be working on 4 somethings.

On the positive side I like that he said he would be back Tuesday. Assume that means everyone is taking off labor day. That is cool. Also implies may be a John sighting an a fairley regular basis. Encouraging.

Hal's letter was enough to draw me back in. It made my perception of Strat's attitude do a 180 degrees u-turn.
Now fix the manager ratings and access to old teams, and all will be well with me.
