I have long suspected such a hack but had no clue how it could be done to view others' draft lists. This is why about a year ago I cut my $160 million + cap auto drafts.

The hack is worthless in LIVE drafts and the talent pool is deep enough in caps BELOW $160 million that an autodraft hack won't be much of an issue at lower caps.

You $160 to $260 cap auto drafters out there should be PISSED!

Thanks for sharing and re-confirming NOT to do high cap autodrafts.

At least your HACK hasn't given you an advantage in post-season play, although I'm sure you'll eventually figure out something to help you win championships.

Just to clarify how the draft card hacking worked:
you didn't have to get into anyone's account to see em- the process was very similar.
All you had to do was go to the league and add in whatever the draft URL was and you could see who was drafted in what order and who the replacement players were they were given when they missed on a person.

It was shown to me by someone who subsequently alerted SoM to it - have no idea whether they fixed it so it wasn't available or if another hack was discovered since then. Had nothing to do with getting into individual accounts.

Interesting. Not as bad as if it was before the draft. But if it wasn't Strat's intention to make that info public (I assume they didn't link to it anywhere) then yeah a bit shady.

Nobody is viewing draft cards man, Salty is talking about something from long ago.

"Nobody is viewing draft cards man, Salty is talking about something from long ago."?

Very impressive for someone who just started playing a couple months ago

Impressive for me to report Salty's own description of the draft card hack? Okay...

My point was that Brad seemed to be confused about what I was doing a few months ago with the scraping, and whatever/whenever this draft card business was happening, which was before my time and has no connection to me.

Jesus what is with this place? Is the community always this suspicious and unpleasant?

You do have a tendency to do that sometimes Bruce. But often times it's just calling it like you see it.

Personally I love it. So keep up the good work.

Not part of this community and I have no idea what's being discussed. My point was it sounds like stuff only someone who has been around would know. Just seems like everyone else knows each other under alternate names. The Last Druid (aka Bruce) is Bruce F? Is Salty = Brad.

Austin,

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I have long thought (but been never near being able to do) scraping collective data and regressing the key variable of winning teams would be insightful thing to do, and it seems you've done it.

Thankfully for the rest of us mortals, if I have this right, it data is less indicative at lower caps.

So are you looking for frequency of players on winning teams or running certain regressions to identify key parks and certain caps or something else.

Again really interesting discussion and thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Daniel

Yes, Salty is Brad and Brad is Salty. If you did KNOW the community, you would laugh yourself. ;)
