Quite surprised that most of the new NEL season specific additions are worse than their supposed "aggregate" year cards. Well, at least they don't all choke anymore.

Are there any new 1970s or 1980s hitters who already had maybe a card or two? For instance, Buddy Bell, Alan Trammell, Robin Yount, Larry Bowa, Mike Hargrove, or any position players from the 1970s or 1980s that are new? I love that 1978 Davey Lopes card! The new Negro League player cards are awesome too!

Buddy Bell should get more love, he only has ONE card and he is a borderline HOF who won many Gold Gloves and went to several All-Star games with comparable numbers offensively with Brooks Robinson. They could release his 1979, 1980, 1984 or 1986 card.

Ralph Garr, nice! I just got hip to him through the 1970s Mystery Game, he was a little before my time but I like his speed!

Did anyone notice the subtle difference between this and the aggregate NeL card for DIHIGO???


I guess he was somehow a switch hitter over his career but for his single season they decided to make him STRICTLY a righty!!! Very Strange Indeed!
