One would hope that they will also go in and correct the cards for guys from '34 or '85 that have play results reading "SI* 1- with no end to the split and no 2nd result. Notable cards are JoJo Moore and Willie McGee, but there are others, probably something over half a dozen. One would think this is just a glitch in converting the open triangle results to a milieu where that rule is not used.

Also there's an Al Oliver card with a completely missing play result. This could well be the same issue,

Well if you ask me pitcher pricing is more messed up than ever. At least in relation to hitter pricing. Sure, pitchers are cheaper than previous versions but so is OPS, to a wider degree, thus pitching is less effective. In addition to these cheaper prices for sluggers, the supply of them has exploded which has actually resulted in increased demand for 1000+ run lineups.

Elite pitching became cheaper in the last price change (best pricing improvement of all) but middle-priced pitching was killed in large part to motivate managers to use stud pitchers. Instead, many just punt on all their starters or at least their #3-4's especially with the popularization of the super-reliever.

All pitching needs to become cheaper in a relative sense (whether that be by increasing the price on offense of lessening it on pitching).

PS: defense has gotten to be tremendously more expensive over the years which just furthers the offensive proliferation we've seen.

I'd love to see them drop +$6 million *SP pitchers by $1 million across the board and raise +$6 million hitters correspondingly. I know that's unscientific, but it would go a long way toward fixing the game's ridiculous imbalance. Teams would feature better starting pitchers and more middling hitters.

My success has climbed since I started using 'stud pitching'.

I think we also confirmed just now that Bernie/JohnG while silent on here is clearly still pulling the strings.

Theres a lot to say about that, but Ill save that for later.

now that we have confirmed that childsmwc and that he is solidly involved in pricing can I ask him this question.

Can you verify that ATG7 will have all new prices for all players? Or will only the 200 new cards get new prices?

Just curious.

Any best guess on release date? I'm in a keeper league that is proposing an auto draft for next week sometime. Anyone think we're close to this new set?

Somewhere I saw that only the 4 changed cards would get different prices. The rest of the ATG VI cards were staying the same.

Artie: I expect it this week.......guessing tomorrow. Course there could be delays as I suspect there may be some bumps in the process with the shuffle option.
