I think it happens to all of us sometime, just like every once in a while, Dave Boswell gets 6 straight rolls on his card as opposed to the offense on the way to a Griffith Stadium no-hitter. It's a dice game. There is no mitigation of the damage done to Pedro Martinez if all the rolls are on the batter's card, and Babe Ruth may as well be Jim Brideweser if all 4 rolls are on are on the pitcher's card.
