HOME RUN TRIVIA

Strangely, there are only two home run totals between 0 and 61 that no MLB hitter has ever finished a season with. Can you name the two numbers?

Before the latter half of the 1990s I could rattle off the HR list - Maris 61, Ruth 60 and 59, Foxx and Greenberg 58, Wilson 56, Kiner Mantle and Ruth 54, and Foster was the only "modern" slugger high on the list at 52. I've lost track since then but my guess would be 57 and 55.

55 is one of them.......................57 has been done twice, though with Luis Gonzalez and A-Rod as the "perpetrators"

yep.................The 40 home run mark has been equaled or bested 310 times in MLB history......just seems funny that no one's ever finished on one of those two numbers for a season
