Trying to get a feel if there would be any interest in the following:
The Franchises:
Phi (NL)
NY (NL)
ST Lou. (NL)
Pitt (NL)
Chi (NL)
CIN (NL)
Bos/Mil (NL)
Brooklyn (NL)
NY (AL)
Cle (AL)
Det (AL)
Bos (NL)
Phi (AL)
Chi (AL)
STL (AL)
WASH (AL)
Players are only eligible if they played in The 1953 season or prior. Player is only eligible for the team he first played for ie Babe Ruth would be eligible for Bos (AL) only however the Boson (AL) franchise can use any of Ruths Cards...Mantles 56 card would be eligible since he appeared in 1953 and prior....There are other exceptions if a player played for a franchise that does not exist ie Honus Wagner 1st played for Louisville...the first team thats listed that he played for is Pit,,,he would be eligible for that franchise. This means no card can be raided... The player is yours as long as he played his first game in that city. I listed the teams by NL and AL since several of the teams had different nicknames. Players like Hugh Duffy although played for the Chicago White Stocking would be eligible for CHI (NL) not AL.
We would wait for the new release of cards.
The league would be $120m. no dh
the only other players that would be eligible is NEL. You would be allowed two per franchise except Yankees only get 1 NEL player. ALthough Cleveland would be able to have more since Satchel and Quincy Troupe played for Cleveland as there 1st MLB team. Hope this make sense.
Leave your questions here.
I will pick last.....16 franchises only need 12 players.
Let me know what you think
