Actually, I think you live draft types did pretty well by this card set. Big upgrade to Al Simmons, decent upgrades to Heilmann and Schmidt, excellent platoon CF card for Reiser, a great Babe Herman card, and a great Giambi card. Also, Lajoie and Vaughan are still impact players, but no longer 1st rounders. Moises Alou and Jim Gentile are also going to be regulars.

On the pitching side, there's an upgrade to Keefe, a nice George Bradley, and Nomo and Prior are probably everyday starters. There are a lot of fringey starters for you too, like Reuther, Galvin, Dummy Taylor, and even Dan Haren for the small-ball guys. And the bullpen guys - upgrade to Hoffman, Phil Regan, Gagne, another good Gene Garber card, and Mike Jackson (minus the silver nose).

It's funny, though, that they haven't made a live draft app. I would think that would have been one of the easiest things to implement, since they already have all of the cards for each player interlinked by their player number (with the possible exception of Larry Andersen, who doens't matter in live drafts). I would think a good programmer could hammer one out in a couple of days.

"I would think a good programmer could hammer one out in a couple of days."

Or even a bad one in say 6 months or so?

Hell, I'm a chiropractor with ZERO programming experience. I think I could have banged one out by now...

Well, at least you know how to treat yourself when things get to be a pain in your arse. :?

RBURGH- we added some usable cards for high level caps, but as you pointed out, we downgraded 4 too.
Out of 200 I, personally, dont consider that a huge new thing-
Im actually more concerned because a few people wrote in (not me)telling them that this was a bad idea- yet as usual, it fell on deaf ears.

That live draft app sure must be tough to make...In all honesty for me- its more about a simple lack of letting us know that its still being worked on and when we should actually expect it
