Better stock up on 5 packs before the end of 2012. I will be getting 3 of them.

They did say the prices would be coming down, and they did. $80 for a 5-pack is what the old sale price was, so it's affordable.

I do hope the wrinkles get ironed out . . . but I do know some people didn't like the $25 price point.

I think the 14.95 deal should stay in place. It's brought many new players to the game and leagues fill much faster than ever before. If SOM raises the price to 25 they will lose half the players. Its better to make a smaller profit but have volume than it is to have a limited market and the same or less profit.

I agree about the volume, especially as it relates to filling leagues. Fast filling leagues motivates people to start more new teams. Slow filling leagues tend to diminish interest. Tried to get a team launched a couple weeks ago and leagues would not fill. Wound up just pulling the team out and waiting until after first of year.

Just think of how fast the leagues would fill if it was FREE!
