This is one of what I consider to be the flaws in Strato. The nature in which a roll on hitter card matters not who is pitching and vice versa. Just gotta accept it though and hope someone else gets frustrated when Bonds, Mantle, Ruth go walking back to dugout after a series of rolls off maddux card.

This is the difference between a dice game and a real game. If you can suggest a better way to have Maddux face an opposing lineup for ~$0.50 a start, then speak up, Hal Richmond is listening!

:D :D :D :D

Tomorrow, I'll complain when the dice don't go my way.

I would imagine that everything can be weighted, though. If hitters can have power rating adjustments, can't at bats have adjustments for the quality of pitcher? For Maddux there is an extra chance the roll reverts to the pitcher card. This doesn't make sense in the normal season to season strat world, but for a card set spanning decades, it might be a useful thing. Have a similar rating for hitters to offset. The Ruth's and Williams' would offset the Maddux and it would truly be head to head, but when Buck Martinez steps up against Maddux, there is an extra chance that the roll goes away from the hitter and back to the pitcher. This would allow the best of the best to still be that.

Hal Richmond is listening!

 Upper strat management listening to customers.

And they told me you didn't have a sense of humor.
