Gaming error

Unless i'm missing something here (which is always possible) there is a pretty bad flaw in the game.

Why in the world would Bobby Thomson be sent in to pinch hit for Josh Gibson (who leads the league in SLG, OPS, RBI, and runs created BTW)? Obviously I do not have Gibson set to be pinch hit for, and he wasn't injured. It looks like the computer was tricked into thinking a pitcher was batting??

Gibson had already been pulled as part of a double switch, Gooch was catching. Check the play by play, Gibson was pulled in the sixth. Thompson hit for Romo, who entered in the seventh.

Your right, I did miss that. I still don't understand that move though, doesn't make much sense to me.

I think HAL can be a little overzealous with double switches . . . like we get that you can do them, but it doesn't justify removing your best hitter.
