Since 1946 there have been 8 hitters with 30 or more homeruns in a season and fewer strikeouts than homeruns in that season. Can you name them? (Of the eight, three accomplished this more than once).

Joe Dimaggio, Yogi Berra, and Johnny Mize have to be on that list i'm sure.

Joltin' Joe, Yogi and the Big Cat are all on the list (and for what it's worth...Yogi and Mize are two of the three to have accomplished this more than once. Dimaggio did it six times in his career but only once after 1946).

Stan Musial must be on the list, I'm guessing.

The Big Klu did it.
I'm guessing Bonds did it when he was juiced up.
What about Ted Williams?

I'm guessing Don Mattingly might be there. King Ralph Kiner and Ted Williams.

Kluszewski did it four years in a row! Musial did it once (but was really close on several other occasions). Bonds did it in 2004. Williams did it in 1941, so he isn't part of this answer.

Two to go....and not the easiest of the eight.

Now that I think of it I remember looking at the new Andy Pafko card in SOM and noticing he did it.
