so i decided to give forbes '65 another go after losing in the finals the last time.
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/819028i know my starting pitching could be stronger, but i hope to make up for it with a stronger bullpen than i usually employ.
a lot of small ball parks a few league '34's and only 3 RH hitter home run teams/parks.
ideas?

I'd like to see a righty bat in that lineup.
I know your park leans towards lefty singles, but it would be nice to have a righty bat to hit a few out in those righty HR parks...

so i dropped thompson in favor of beckwith for my DH. my plan it two fold really. first of all he fills the need for a RH bat and second of all as my second catcher this way i am guaranteed to have either cochrane or beckwith in every line-up.
i also dropped collins for myer but i kept richardson for my defensive replacement.

Depending on your division makeup, it would seem that spending more on pitching would be the thing to do. It is difficult in a pitcher friendly park to score a lot more than 900 runs, so you have to decide if you think your pitching staff could have a 4.5 ERA to have a winning record.
I would look to spend closer to $35M on pitching for this team.
Best of luck, sschu
