77 year old Koufax back with Dodgers as a special instructor

77 year old Sandy Koufax has rejoined the Dodgers as a special pitching instrctor. This is good for the Dodgers and good for baseball. Koufax is and always has been a class act. See the article at the link below:

Yeah, read the article! The last time I read something about Koufax in the Dodger training camp was that he was pitching batting practice and knocked the bat out of Mike Marshall's hands.

In another unrelated article, SS Maury Wills was in Dodger camp to work on base-stealing strategies, switch hitting, and fielding. Not the team, his own...

I thought he usually helped out the Mets as he is friends with the Wilpons...

The Mets (my team for the past half-century) are beyond Koufax's help.
