Question about Playoff Format

I am in a 12-team ATG league that wraps up this Friday. I have clinched my division and will be playing the wild card team in the first round (since he is in the same division as the team with the best record).

If the wild card team finishes the regular season with a better record than my team, who has home-field advantage when we play each other - him (better record) or me (division winner)?

I assumed the answer was that I will have home field advantage as a division winner, but the rules in the help section say:
The team with the better record has home-field advantage in each series.

Anyone know the answer?

You will be the home team. I had an 82-80 division winner that had home field over a 92-70 wild card in the semifinals two months ago.

Thanks, Rick. So I will now rest my injury-prone starters.

Heck no! Some peoples' livelihood is dependent on pitchers getting injured.

I am new to this as well, my question on the playoffs is do they still play three games a night, or is it 1 game a night?
