When I'm up by 4, I would really love to have Kevin Mitchell replaced at 3rd base by Cecil Travis. That's why I checked the box, Rem 4 def sub.

PLEASE fix this

do u have him listed as a defensive sub under the team strategy?
usually works for me, althought there is prob a number of runs after which the sub is not used.

Which is when I want all my defensive subs brought in. I have brought up several times that defensive subs are not right.
Only response I ever got is what a great transition this was and how they see nothing wrong.

I believe defensive subs are only brought in if you are leading by three runs or less during the 7th, 8th or 9th innings.

Yes, and the question is, "WHY?"

If I am up by 4, 5, 6 or 28, I want Albert Belle, Kevin Mitchell, Dick Allen and Chuck Klein replaced by guys with gloves. Seems to be an easy fix.

Replace all players who have Rem 4 def sub box checked with the player who is listed as defensive replacement at that position.
