This team is strutting around and showing off like a peacock all full of itself.
It clearly deserves to crash down to earth, which it probably will -- in the first round of playoffs.
But what a wild ride so far ...
56 wins before the halfway point of the season
32-7 at home
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/league/329125lowest BA of any hitter is .297 - in a pitchers park
top 3 starting pitchers are 44-10
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/1025013This team doesn't do anything special, in fact it literally doesn't "do anything".

Wow only 4 teams in the league with winning records, and only 3 with + run diff.

No big deal - I've been in leagues with teams that had 56 wins - at the end of the season.

The team cooled off ("normalized") in the 2nd half of the season, as expected. The really weird thing I discovered today setting lineups to avoid late-season injuries is ... I never set a lineup vs. RHP! I set my lineup vs LH starting pitchers, and by mistake I entered my preferred lineup vs RHP in the vs. Reverse LHSP section, and left it that way from opening day. A boneheaded mistake that somehow turned out incredibly well ... because I let HAL make out the lineup card vs. RHSP??? Incredible.
Another thing to note about the league standings - I have a lower run differential than the Texas Leaguers, but the Expected Wins in the expanded section shows 101 for my team, and 93 for Texas, because they've given up a ton of runs in addition to outscoring the rest of the league by a large margin.

Could be an ego thing. If HAL makes out the lineup from scratch is he not obligated to make sure the rolls make him look good?

Now.... you are aware that your team is going to lose in the semi-finals to the wild card and get nothing to show for your efforts.
Sincerely,
