this is the closest i have ever came to 4 20 game winners. 20 wins each by my big three and a combined 20 victories between my platoon of kaat/sutton. first time i have ever used a lot of these players (herman, nokes, brown, erstad, prior, etc...)

now watch them get knocked out in the first round.

Yeah, my team got beat up by this powerhouse losing 5 out of 6 and getting outscored 46-28. Good job.

Nice team Steven!

This team finished a couple of weeks ago.

Not my favorite team or best team but first time since ATG 4 that I have had 4 20 game winners (my second time ever). I also liked that this team scored more + runs than all the other teams in the league combined; in fact they scored +108 more than all the other teams combined and finished 15 games ahead of the 2nd best team in the league (deepdrive). I rarely get to play 100M since 200M are the only leagues that regularly fill so this was a treat for me.

Mays and Hornsby tied for the regular season league MVP, yet oddly Mays did not get voted onto the All Star Team. That is seriously messed up, especially since the (final) SOM All Star Team is tabulated at the end of the season.

thanks. good looking team there as well. i see it has a lot of your usual players.

the top 4 teams from my division made the playoffs and i barely finished in first. i spent 1 day in 1st place, the last day of the season.

Of course, that's the only day that matters. Congrats on winning in a tough league.

I had a 70s Mystery Card team with four 20 game winners.

This is one of my rare 100+ win teams in any game format to win a championship. My record for 100 win teams that won rings is 2 for 20, but who's counting? :o

Actually, I have heard others talk about the curse of the 100 win team, but can anyone top 2 rings out of 20 among 100+ wins as a record of futility? :?:

Have failed to win rings with 5 of my last 7 100 win teams. 9 of my last 75 teams to finish won 100 games with only 4 rings. But overall, excluding anything before ATG III, 30 of my 63 teams to win 100+ games won rings. Given that the the priori expectation for 63 teams would be about 16 rings, the curse seems to not affect me. But still it is hard not to be unhappy when a 100 win team fails to win a ring.

well, i advanced out of the first round. HAL tried his hardest to prevent it w/ the road team having 3 starters out w/ injuries and the game being played in my park was still able to take it into extras. but i won in the end.

I'll jump on your favorite team post with my four 20 game winner team (plus another 15 from Dale Murray). I imagine with these super relievers it is possible to have five 20 game winners.

Yes, knocked out in the semis, and the familiar phrase appears...

THANKS FOR PLAYING!

Unfortunately, your season has come to an end. We congratulate you on making it this far though... thanks for playing!

That's quite a stellar squad, PJ! Really tough to lose in the semis after such a wonderful season; I think you're correct about the five 20 wins with a super-reliever. I'm assuming it hasn't happened yet, but not out of the realm of possibility.
