What do you guys think the average age of the online Strat community is? 40, 45, 50, 55, or 60 or more? I think it's closer to 55. Well I'm 55 so I might be biased.

There was once a fun thread on the old boards, where the author asked online managers to introduce themselves with brief bios in response to a questionnaire...probably still there if you can find it. Lots of managers responded, eventually went on for many pages.
As I recall, the largest number seemed to be in their 40's. I believe the oldest at the time was around 65, with a handful of others in their 60's, and a fair number in their 50's. Possibly more in their 30's or younger, but I'd guess the most common decade was the 40's.

Delivery Boy is 58, started playing Strat-O in 1968 and still hasn't learned a dog-gone thing!
Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...

I'll admit to seeing Bob Feller pitch in my first ML game and to watching the likes of Teddy Ballgame and Joe Di. But despite what Andy says, I never saw Addie Joss.

I've always wondered how many ladies participate here. I've encountered a few in my 8 years here, but it has be around 5% at most.

LOL.
My first ML game was Denny McLain pitching against the Twins at Metropolitan Stadium. Saw Killebrew and Oliva. It was a dad's and son's Knights of Columbus trip up from Iowa. Used to listen to Twins games on a transistor radio, under the bed covers while I was supposed to be sleeping. I'm a year younger than the Delivery Boy (57).

Saw Stan (the Man) play his final years in old Sportsmans Park in St. Louis. First seasons of board game Strat were 1964 through 1968 (still have them). Started playing online in Dec., 2010. Eligible for some of that "free" government money at the end of this month.

Yeah, where's that senior citizen discount from SOM not to mention low-cost prescription rates for depression when Hal makes his moves. Maybe we should have an AARP league with term life insurance!
Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...
