Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

I ordered a DVD from Amazon with season 1 (1977) of This Week in Baseball which was always one of my favorite shows because you could see a lot of other teams back in the day when there wasn't that much baseball on TV. Of course there was Mel Allen. I always love hearing his voice. I watched the first four episodes last night and one thing that struck me and I had obviously forgotten was how many teams had that light blue/powder blue road uniform. Also the White Sox throw back uniform and the Pirates semi throw back uniforms. Anyway it was great watching this blast from the past and I will have to ration myself to one episode a day from now on. It's a must have for baseball nuts. "So sit back and enjoy This Week in BASEBALL!! How about that, indeed.

You have more discipline than I do if you can watch just one episode at a time.
Read an article about this earlier in the week. They say a growing number of people are binge watching tv. That is defined as watching entire seasons of something via dvd or streaming in one sitting. Apparently many people are ignoring shows as they air and watching only after there is a complete season available to watch all at once. Thus no waiting a week between episodes wondering what will happen next.

That DVD you purchased would be ideal for a binge watching session.

Well it did take a lot of will power but I only watched one episode (one week) yesterday. If they released all 12 or 13 seasons right now instead of one at a time like they appear to be doing then I would take Valen's advice and binge watch a whole season at once.

Wonder if they are waiting to see how well season 1 sells before putting in effort to make all available.
