Williams or Evans

Got a 70m no DH theme league with the Boston franchise. Am allowed 2 FAs outside of my pool, so I used Dale Murray and Buck Martinez.

My question centers around the cheap Ted Williams vs. the expensive Dwight Evans. Williams went down for 7 games last night, early in the season. I've used him as a DH before so I know he'll hit and I know he'll get hurt. I've seen some nice things from Dewey, and I love the upgrade in defense and expected playing time.

The Williams card was and is tempting when he's not out, but I'm starting to wonder.

Any opinions on the matter? I'm in Fenway '46, so the righty bat gets the bonus power. All of the parks in the league are balanced, so the lefty bat isn't that crucial on the road.

Here's an Evans season in an 80M shuffle team in Hilltop

I liked him. Plays every day. One of the best fielding RFs in the set. Good OBP and extra base power. For some reason, he seemed to think he could steal bases, which didn't work out all that well. Outside of that, thumbs up.
