The H&R roll was off of the pitcher's card, which is used unless its a BB or K. The roll must have been a 5-9 and the split draw 1 - the only chance for a HR off of Christy.
I think I'd change Williams settings to "Do not hit and run." The was a rather lucky circumstance for you. Like 1 chance in 1000 (1080 to be exact).

I am just confused on why HAL would H&R there. Fisk on first has do not steal. Team settings for HR and Steal are conservative.
I have always been on the conspiracy theory side of things when it comes to the playoffs and just the constant repeating of incredibility unrealistic rolls, moves, and HAL decisions.
Is this more proof that the playoff "dice rolls" are pre-programmed?
IMO, over the last 5 years on this strat game, I have seen 84-87 win teams win at least ten times more WS titles than any 90 plus win team. I mean my last playoff series, i had a team with 96 wins, go 12-0 against my opponent in the regular season, lose in 5 first round (4 blown saves)....and you guessed it, to an 86 win team that eventually won the WS
