I like other guys better in his price range, but I wouldn't hesitate to use him.

I keep thinking I need to dump him before it is to late, but maybe I should stick it out for the season and make my judgement about him then!!!

presuming that the card is an accurate representation of his computer implementation, you are having (as they said in Mr. Baseball) as 'srump'.
and those homers should almost all be off of hitters' card results, since his card contains virually no HR chance
with that salary cap he is just seeing way more heavy hitters than he would have in his historical season
that doesn't solve your problem, but its not his card, and you will have some difficulty getting someone as good for less money
i might do something with Foster and Cox, replacing them with cheaper guys - like with Cox, if you aren't going to start him, any nickel starter will do... and see if you can get someone better than Chesbro, but in his historical year he only gave up 4 homers, so I think you are just seeing the effects of more homer hitters and bad luck.
I have used him a couple of times and been satisfied and would use him again. but in a homer park like yours, I would not expect a nifty ERA.

Maybe I will just ride out the season with him.....not as concerned about the era as inability to get a win. 1-12 is killing me. Thanks Patrick!!
