Hello all,

Here is the link to the fourth batter card addition survey based on the wish list compiled over the last few years through the desires of the SOM playing community on various threads. The wish list link is in the PS. Please vote for those cards that you think have a place in the set, knowing that we all have different interests (60 mil, 80, 100, 140, 200, franchise, keeper, shuffle...). You can vote for each player on a scale from "very unimportant" to "very important". Even if you think that it will serve no purpose, please vote. It gives us just that much more to have to go to the SOM powers with specific community requests.

There will be more surveys, hopefully one per month. So how about three weeks on this one (which will give me a week to compile the stats). Any more additions to the wish list? Add them to the thread and I'll add them.

Bill

Voting and talking about new cards is exciting. This must be how a Cubs fan feels when discussing the World Series.

I'm still waiting for a really good Roberto Clemente card. This survey for some reason lists 1970 -- he did not achieve 600 at bats that year.

Clemente's best season arguably was 1967, where he was almost the same OPS+ against lefties and righties, achieved 600-plus at bats and had his best OPS+, according to Baseball Reference.

Please put in Clemente's 1967 season. More balanced, not injury prone and better hitting. :D

The 1967 season was surveyed in the last poll and garnered many votes. It is coded red in the master wish list (see above for link).

Thanks for voting!

Just a bump to remind people to vote at the survey webpage. Remember, you don't have to vote for everybody on the list.
