Stats for the unhittable Pedro vs LHB

The 9.28M Pedro Martinez card is the best one in ATG, and has zero OBP chances vs LH batters.

I prefer to play this simulation by accumulating stats, playing nearly the same team each time, in the same park at the same salary cap, as a way to evaluate and judge which players are most suitable for those parameters.

I use the 9.28M Pedro in a 5-man rotation most of the time. I usually play in Forbes 65 at the $100M level with a few 80M teams as well. So as a result I have a good database to draw conclusions from.

I thought it would be interesting to share some of those results. If all the dice rolls vs LHB were on the pitchers card and the pitcher wasn't fatigued, I would expect zero hits, walks and homers. But that, of course, is not the case. About half of the dice rolls are off the hitters card, so from that - someone could deduce what the mean batting results from hitting in this game are, playing at the $100M salary cap with half of the games in Forbes 65 18-8 1-1. I have no idea what role the X rolls have on the results, but I do not have 1 defense players at every position, particularly SS and 2B.

Mainly, I think that what that proves is that nobody lets a LHB face Pedro unless he's really, really good or unless they have no choice. Plus, your opposing ballpark mixes matter a lot. I have seen teams with sub-4 ERA's in Fulton because they were in a division with 3 extreme pitchers' parks and a league with many more of those.
