This was my game summary from last night.
"Paul Splittorff tossed a complete game at Royals Stadium '78 as the very talenTed Williams Rooters beat the Aeolian Demimonde 12 to 5."
The team name is Williams Rooters and HAL capitalized the "T" in talented to spell out talenTed Williams. Subtly changing a string of characters to have dual meaning is extremely clever wordplay. This type of thinking is a sign of intelligence beyond a normal logical computer's ability. I believe this proves that HAL has become a Turing machine.
Whoever started naming HAL after the computer in 2001: A Space Odyssey was on to something.
