Please, please understand that a 2 minutes per pick time limit is going to be too slow for most people. We used to run the uncapped live drafts at 45 seconds or one minute as well as a minute and a half.

Please, please understand that the live draft app can be used for more leisurely paced drafts such as the 2013 Barnstormer's final (currently going on with an untimed first round and a 3 hour per pick time limit thereafter, and with a player losing his turn due to time constraints simply passing and eligible to enter a pick at any time thereafter rather than subjecting him to a random pick by the computer).

It's great that you have gotten the draft app to work at a 2 minute pace, but allowing for other time limits should be a relatively simple programming change that could be implemented in a few hours of programming time or less, depending on how modular your code is.

I think the sign up procedure for the first two drafts is bizarre, to say the least. Normally I'd sign up, but not by sending off an email to a company that doesn't respond to emails.

As for the OP, I agree, we should be able to set any time for picks we want, be it , 10 seconds, or 4 hours (diamond dope replacement anyone )

Yeah, you'd think they'd just create a couple of live draft leagues with a password.

Yes, with 130+ players in Barnstormers we need the Live Draft to have similar features to DD and the live draft app that came before it that was just as functional. It's difficult to have to expect everyone to be online at the same time. Time limits that span hours instead of minutes, a much more flexible and functional proxy feature, better administration features, the ability to send out e-mails once a pick is made or if you are up (if we are in a 3-hour per pick mode).

At this point, I am not exactly sure what all the time was spent on with this thing. It looks the same as before.

In it's present state, I doubt myself or the Barnstormers Board would consider a live draft event using the SOM app.
